Bring life to your data using Power BI
We live in a world of numbers. In these times, almost all professionals (in any Industry) are called in to work with large amounts of data and make sense of them. Visualising this data can show trends, patterns and relationships allowing us to generate insights and take decisions.
At some point, you will be (or already) called upon to visualise data. You may be asked to develop a simple chart or a full-featured dashboard. Delivering on even a simple request can be remarkably complex. How much data is there? How clean is it? What are the right graphics you should use to present the data? What is the right tool to use? And how the someone who pays us to make the visualisations be more successful (BI) because of your work? Coupled with this, at a macro level, big data trend is intensifying and analytics becoming more ingrained in corporations.
And the need for people who can present data in simple and intelligible ways is rising.
Introduction to Power BI
Power BI is a collection of software services, apps, and connectors that work together to turn your unrelated sources of data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights. Whether your data is a simple Excel spreadsheet, or a collection of cloud-based and on-premises hybrid data warehouses, Power BI lets you easily connect to your data sources, visualize (or discover) what’s important, and share that with anyone or everyone you want.
Here is a 4 weekend (Sat & Sun) “Power BI” course Intended to help you learn techniques to develop dazzling reports and Interactive dashboards to get quick insights from multiple data sets. These visualizations can be shared with touch of a button and are available for review in any internet enabled devices.
